We will send you our non-binding tour offer with price.
Study it calm and relaxed.
We might be hanging around in the trees sometimes, but we make sure to swing back to you within 2 days – we are at your service 7 days a week.
Demand is high from June to October, but we almost always find suitable accommodation at UeSo or other local providers.
Still undecided? Let us know – we are happy to hold a spot for 14 days upon request!
We offer transfers as standard – we can pick you up any time, day or night. During high season, a local company takes over the drives to assist our team. A transfer takes about 3–4 hours.
Alternatively: Rent a car in the city (compare prices, take photos before departure) and drive yourself – but keep in mind you often miss out on wildlife sightings along the route.
There are many offers and pricing models – we offer more and are therefore often cheaper. Thanks to 30 years of experience with UeSo Pantanal (family business), we utilize local know-how. Our packages at UeSo Pantanal Lodge & Tours include:
• Up to 4 guided excursions daily
• Guides in EN/DE/FR/BR (subject to availability)
• 3 meals (buffet or on the go)
• Transfers (unless you opt-out)
• Leisure area access
• Overnight stays
• Transfers to excursions
Yes, of course! Thanks to our close partnership with UeSo (30+ years locally), we primarily recommend their tours. Other providers? Feel free to ask, and we can book them – but they are often more expensive, offer fewer services, or are located close to UeSo sites.
Included services may vary.
PS: We are also happy to organize city hotels in Cuiabá, a visit to a Churrascaria, or transfers from Campo Grande for you.
Yes, we strive to do so despite the challenges! Using UeSo guides (subject to availability), freelancers, new lodges, or even when Maps information is inaccurate. We know the Pantanal region and find solutions – even off the beaten path.
Yes, we offer multi-hour boat tours from Porto Jofre using motorboats – jaguar sightings are almost guaranteed. Our goal: not just the "Big Cats," but the full nature experience – animals, plants, forests, and impressive river landscapes.
We place great value on family-run businesses that specialize in conservation and nature tourism. While certificates can be bought and hung on a wall, nature conservation must be practiced. Saving water, using solar systems, reducing energy consumers (air conditioning), as well as staff training and fair wages, are important to us when selecting businesses for collaboration.
It is important to us that everything runs smoothly. However, decisions regarding vaccinations and illnesses must be left to you. Please consult your doctor, pharmacist, or a tropical medicine institute. Ensure you are fit and active enough to enjoy the excursions – you don't need to be a marathon runner, but walking for several hours in the sun at ~40°C during the dry season is a realistic expectation.
Tourists are usually allowed to stay for 90 days; your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date. These regulations can change, so please check with the authorities in your country.
If traveling independently, you will fly to Cuiabá (CGB, Marechal Rondon Intl. Airport), usually via São Paulo or Rio. You must go through customs at the first Brazilian airport you land in; baggage often needs to be collected and re-checked.
To make the most of your stay in the Pantanal, we recommend arriving at the airport before 10:00 AM. For the return journey, we suggest a departure ideally after 6:00 PM.
